Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks, vans, to deliver packages along assigned routes
  • Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies
  • Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards during all driving activities
  • Use mobile devices and route navigation tools to plan efficient delivery routes and update delivery statuses
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and courteously
  • Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and complete shift reports as required

Skills

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in warehouse operations involving material handling equipment operation
  • Familiarity with commercial driving, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles used for deliveries
  • Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices in compliance with traffic regulations
  • Ability to perform manual handling, heavy lifting, and moving tasks efficiently and safely
  • Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to DOT regulations
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during all interactions
  • Competence in operating mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery updates

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
  • Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
  • Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
