Closing Team Member – Part-Time ($20/hr + Tips)

Pay: $20.00 per hour + tips

Job Type: Part-time, 2–3 shifts per week

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and responsible team members to join our Baskin-Robbins team for evening and closing shifts.

This position is ideal for college students or anyone looking for a flexible part-time job with a limited weekly schedule.

Schedule & Availability

  • Approximately 2–3 evenings per week
  • Shifts typically last 4–5 hours
  • Sunday–Thursday: Store closes at 11:30 PM
  • Friday–Saturday: Store closes at 1:00 AM
  • Closing duties generally require an additional 15–20 minutes after store closing, occasionally up to 30 minutes during busy evenings
  • Must be available to work both Friday and Saturday closing shifts at least two weekends per month

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly service
  • Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and other desserts
  • Operate the register and handle customer transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Restock supplies and prepare the store for the next day
  • Complete assigned closing and cleaning duties

Qualifications

  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Previous food service or retail experience is helpful but not required
  • Must be able to work the required late-night closing schedule

Compensation

  • $20.00 per hour plus tips
  • Tips typically average approximately $2–$4 per hour depending on season and business volume
