Content Writer & Editor - Brand Strategy Remote Entry Level

Join our team as a Content Writer & Editor focused on brand strategy. This is a fully remote, entry-level position where you'll create clear, compelling content across multiple channels and help establish the voice and standards that guide all communications.

About the Role

You'll work as a copywriter and content strategist, creating and editing content across brand campaigns, web pages, emails, advertising, social media, video and audio scripts, and member communications. You'll help translate complex information into clear, useful messages that resonate with audiences. This role also involves developing content standards, editorial calendars, and workflows that keep all communications consistent and on-brand. You'll have the opportunity to explore how emerging content tools, including AI, can improve our work while maintaining strong editorial judgment and accuracy.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write and edit high-quality content across multiple platforms and formats• Develop content strategies and editorial plans for campaigns and member communications• Work with team members to understand complex topics and create clear, accessible content• Establish and maintain brand voice guidelines and content standards• Lead thoughtful adoption of new content tools to improve efficiency and quality• Create and manage content calendars that connect different priorities across channels• Audit existing content to identify gaps, outdated material, or areas for improvement• Use performance data and audience feedback to inform future content work• Coach team members on voice, writing standards, and best practices• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines

Skills & Background Needed

Experience Required

Minimum five years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, editorial strategy, or marketing communications. This should include work on content strategies that support brand and organizational goals, and a portfolio demonstrating strong copywriting across different formats.

Experience Preferred

• Experience building or improving content processes, writing standards, or content governance• Experience using analytics or performance data to improve content• Experience with AI-enabled writing or research tools• Background in financial services or other regulated industries

Rate:Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
