<p><strong>PACS Admin with Intelerad PACS Exp </strong></p><p><strong>Denver, Colorado (Remote) </strong></p><p><strong>Long Term Contract </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>The PACS/RIS Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of the radiology imaging and information systems including PACS, RIS, and associated imaging software. The role acts as a liaison between Radiology, IT, and vendors to ensure seamless operation of digital imaging workflows, high system availability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Administer, configure, and maintain the PACS and RIS systems for radiology departments.</li><li>Provide first- and second-level support for radiology IT systems, troubleshooting technical and workflow issues.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate archiving, retrieval, and distribution of medical images and reports.</li><li>Monitor system performance, conduct routine maintenance, and manage backups and disaster recovery plans.</li><li>Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and clinicians to improve workflow efficiency and system usability.</li><li>Support integration with other hospital systems such as HIS (Hospital Information System), EMR/EHR, and modality devices (CT, MRI, X-ray).</li><li>Manage user accounts, access control, and security protocols in compliance with HIPAA and other data protection regulations.</li><li>Document system issues, upgrades, and changes; maintain detailed operational logs.</li><li>Participate in PACS/RIS training programs and user education.</li><li>Work closely with vendors for system updates, patching, and service-level agreements (SLAs).</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting with PACS/RIS administration.</li><li>Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards.</li><li>Good Experience in Intelerad and Divrad</li><li>Familiarity with radiology workflow and modality integration.</li><li>Experience with systems like Visage similar PACS products and Aspen, Medinformatics , SCI , Cadstream , Icad , Hologic</li><li>Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p>
