Drama Teacher - Doncaster

About the role:

We are seeking a Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. This is a full-time, long term supply role starting in the October half term of the new academic year, 2026. The school is well-regarded for its creative and inclusive ethos, offering a supportive environment where both staff and students are encouraged to excel and express themselves through the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Drama across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence.
  • Contribute to school performances, productions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Pre-requisites:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience of teaching Drama and/or Music in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Drama and Music.
  • Two recent education or school-based references.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
