Freelance Marketing Manager

From £250/day, depending on experience | Part-time freelance | Remote | Flexible hours

Lost Art is a creative marketing agency working with brands across food and drink, hospitality, events, lifestyle and commercial sectors.

We're looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Manager to help plan and deliver campaigns across our client portfolio.

This isn't a traditional account management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys doing the work as much as planning it - someone who can take a brief, organise the activity, produce the content and get things delivered without needing every step mapped out.

You'll work within established client strategies and brand guidelines, with the confidence to make recommendations, spot opportunities and take ownership of agreed projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Planning and delivering campaigns across email, social media, web and other marketing channels.
  • Building email marketing campaigns, from copy and creative through to testing, scheduling and reporting.
  • Creating social media content and editing Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
  • Occasionally visiting venues, events and client locations to capture natural, engaging social content.
  • Writing and adapting copy for different brands, campaigns and audiences.
  • Managing website content and updates across platforms such as WordPress, Shopify and Squarespace.
  • Creating and adapting brochures, presentations, sales materials and paid social creative.
  • Supporting paid social activity, including preparing creative, coordinating campaigns and reviewing results.
  • Coordinating press release distribution, influencer outreach, guest lists and campaign logistics.
  • Using HubSpot and other CRM platforms to manage contacts, marketing lists and sales activity.
  • Developing campaign plans, timelines and content calendars.
  • Reviewing campaign performance and making practical recommendations.
  • Using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve research, content production, project management and workflows.
  • Taking ownership of agreed projects and day-to-day marketing activity, keeping things moving independently.

About you

You'll ideally have:

  • Around 3-6 years' experience across marketing, content or digital campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills and good creative judgement.
  • Practical experience with email marketing, social media and website content.
  • Confidence creating content in Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
  • Experience planning and delivering campaigns from brief to completion.
  • A good understanding of marketing performance and reporting.
  • Confidence and curiosity in using AI tools intelligently and efficiently.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to take a brief and run with it.
  • The flexibility to occasionally travel to London for pre-planned content days.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, paid social platforms and marketing automation would be useful, but we're open to people with different combinations of skills.

We're particularly interested in applicants who are resourceful, adaptable and genuinely enjoy producing work. This is a hands-on role, not one focused on managing a team or simply coordinating other people.

How we work

This is a predominantly remote freelance role with flexible working hours, regular ongoing work and occasional pre-arranged London content days. Agreed travel expenses will be covered.

You'll work closely with the agency founder across a varied client portfolio, with the opportunity to take ownership of campaigns and day-to-day marketing activity.

We value good judgement, initiative, clear communication and people who can get things done.

How to apply

We'd particularly like to see email campaigns, social content, short-form video, marketing materials or campaigns you've planned and delivered yourself.
