Freelance Travel Video Creator – Remote, Paid per Contribution

Who we are
Avygeo.com is a travel discovery platform powered by people, not algorithms. Picture Instagram built entirely around travel: the hotels, restaurants and experiences that surface first are the ones recommended by creators you actually follow and trust. Real travelers, real visits, real opinions. We're shaping the platform alongside the travel community, and creators are at the center of it.

The role
We're recruiting freelance creators to film honest videos about places they've personally visited: cities, landmarks, hotels, restaurants, tours and travel agencies.

Is this you?
Filming is already a habit when you travel. Maybe it's a Reel from a terrace at sunset, a TikTok of a street nobody else found, or a YouTube vlog about a meal you still think about. You're at ease on camera, and you'd love a place where travel content is the main event rather than something squeezed between ads.
Got a following on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube? Great. Still building your channel but already making strong videos? We'd love to hear from you too.

What each contribution includes

  • Video (the heart of every contribution): at least one minute, with your face or your voice and your own perspective. A smartphone and good light are all you need, and any orientation works. Footage you've already shot for your own channels is welcome, as long as you created it.
  • Photos: taken by you, on site. No stock images or pictures found online.
  • Text: a title plus roughly 50 words of context. Skip the summary and the research. We just want your honest opinion.

Above all, each contribution should feel personal: how the place made you feel, what you loved or what disappointed you, and whether another traveler should make time for it.

Honesty is non-negotiable: we pay the same for a glowing take as for a disappointed one. Content published on Avygeo is clearly identified as coming from our creator program.

Compensation & perks

  • Paid per contribution once it's published, with the rate depending on the format. Text-only pieces earn the base rate, adding photos increases it, and including a video pays the most. Publication depends only on quality and authenticity guidelines, never on whether your opinion is positive or negative. You can submit up to 15 contributions per month. Your perspective is worth paying for, even when it only takes a few minutes to capture.
  • Follower bonus: earn extra for every new follower you bring to your Avygeo profile, wherever they come from: your Instagram bio, a TikTok caption, a YouTube description, a newsletter or a friend's recommendation.
  • Travel discounts with selected Avygeo partners.
  • A say in the product: as an early creator, you help decide what the content looks like and which features we build next.

To be clear, this won't pay your rent. It's a way to be rewarded for something you already do, and to help shape a platform you'd want to use yourself.
