HubSpot Fractional Support (Data Management)

The Magan Group is a Charlotte-based single-family office focused on control buyouts of corporate carveouts and divestitures. We recently migrated our CRM from Attio to HubSpot and are looking for a fractional HubSpot resource to help us optimize the setup and keep our data clean on an ongoing basis.

Our CRM is primarily used for deal sourcing and relationship tracking. We have 10,000+ company records plus associated contacts, and HubSpot connects to several tools we use day-to-day (Outlook / Microsoft 365, Granola, Instantly, and Clay).

What we need help with:

Optimization: Review our current setup and improve properties, pipelines, views, and dashboards so the CRM is easier to use and reflects how we actually work.

Data cleanup: Deduplicate and merge records, standardize fields (industry, ownership, categories), fix associations between companies and contacts, and clean up anything left over from the migration.

Integrations and automation: Make sure email / meeting activity and outreach data are logging correctly, and set up workflows where they save us manual effort.

Ongoing upkeep: Recurring hygiene on a monthly cadence – new records, enrichment gaps, and keeping ownership and categorization current.

What we're looking for:

Hands-on HubSpot admin experience (Sales Hub; certifications a plus)

Strong experience with data cleanup, imports, and deduplication at scale

Familiarity with integrations and workflow automation

Experience with investment firms, PE, or other relationship-driven BD teams is a plus

Clear, proactive communication – you flag issues and suggest improvements rather than waiting to be told

How we work:

We're a small, lean team, so we're looking for someone who can work independently and take ownership. We'd expect an initial project to get the CRM into good shape, followed by an ongoing fractional engagement of roughly 5–25 hours per month depending on need. Communication is mostly async over email, with a short check-in call as needed.

To apply, please share a brief note on similar HubSpot work you've done (ideally cleanup or optimization projects), your hourly rate, and your availability.
