We’re looking for an exceptional full-time Video Editor to join the team behind Canada’s #1 investing podcast.

This isn’t a typical editing job. We’re looking for someone who obsesses over quality, thrives under deadlines, and takes pride in producing polished content that stands out.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit full-length podcast episodes to the highest production standards.
  • Cut compelling short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X.
  • Create engaging episode trailers and promotional videos.
  • Ensure every piece of content is polished, accurate and on brand.
  • Manage multiple deadlines each week while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with the host and production team to continually improve the quality of the show.

What We’re Looking For

  • Outstanding video editing skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—you catch the things others miss.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong instincts for pacing, storytelling and what makes content engaging.
  • Experience creating content optimized for social media.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience setting up and monitoring audio recordings for podcasts.
  • Familiarity with podcast production workflows.
  • Motion graphics or graphic design experience.

Schedule

  • Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
  • This isn’t always a traditional 9-to-5 role. Some weeks require flexibility around recording schedules and publishing deadlines.
  • You’ll work in person at our Toronto studio at least two days per week, with occasional weeks requiring a third in-office day.

Compensation

  • Starting salary: $60,000
  • Annual performance bonus with the opportunity to earn $70,000–$75,000 total compensation
  • A production schedule that includes a summer hiatus in August and a reduced schedule in December
