Service Processor, Premium & Billing
Job Description:
- Manage payment indexing and premium and billing applications
- Configure/setup new accounts in applicable systems
- Research discrepancies and analyze root causes
- Ensure information is complete and in good order
- Monitor premium and billing completion, including balancing expenses
- Troubleshoot complex premium and billing issues and resolve them
- Manage basic reporting, terminations, and reinstatements
- Transfer payments as needed
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage premium and billing cases according to procedures, guidelines, and quality/production standards
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members or management
- Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives
Requirements:
- High School or GED
- 0–1+ years of billing, premium, and/or reconciliation experience directly aligned with the position
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Accounts Receivable knowledge preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt as needed
- Ability to articulate/alter provisions and comfort with contract language
- Must reside outside a commutable distance to an office location for the remote arrangement
