Social Commerce Content Specialist

Job Description:

  • Support development of weekly content plans and publishing schedules based on commercial priorities and campaign requirements
  • Recommend content themes, product focus areas and campaign support ideas for Dyson’s owned social commerce channel
  • Plan, create, shoot, edit and publish organic and commerce-native content for TikTok Shop and other platforms
  • Identify and adapt social trends, behaviors, sounds, formats and hooks for a premium technology brand
  • Develop concepts, hooks, scripts, shot lists, captions, graphics, sound treatments and platform-native cuts
  • Explore AI-enabled tools for ideation, scripting, editing, localization and content versioning
  • Rework global and regional assets into local social-native edits and repurpose high-performing material subject to usage rights
  • Create content briefs and capture plans for colleagues, creators and talent
  • Maintain an organized content library with status, usage rights, product, format and tags
  • Identify relevant reactive trend opportunities
  • Track content and commerce performance metrics including views, watch time, completion, engagement, shares, saves, product clicks and video-attributed GMV
  • Produce weekly content readouts with insights, tests and recommended changes
  • Work with the Social Commerce Lead and Marketing to identify organic content suitable for paid boosting
  • Ensure content meets brand, legal, product-claim, music-rights and platform-compliance requirements while maintaining Dyson’s premium positioning

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years' experience in short-form video, social content, creative production or creator-led marketing
  • Demonstrable social media-native portfolio with strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, product demonstration and editing judgement
  • Able to concept, script, shoot and edit independently using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or equivalent
  • Fast and resourceful, with strong trend judgement and discipline to protect premium brand standards
  • Curious and hands-on with AI content tools, able to test new workflows responsibly and turn successful experiments into repeatable production processes
  • Strong attention to detail in product claims, captions, tagging, links, file management and publishing accuracy
  • Able to work with employees, creators, experts and stylists to capture natural, useful content efficiently
