Technical Content Writer & Email Marketing Specialist - Entry Level, Remote
We're looking for a detail-oriented writer to create high-converting email and SMS copy for marketing campaigns. You'll write, optimize, and manage messaging across automated workflows, learning marketing automation tools as you go. This is a fully remote role where you'll own the full cycle: drafting copy, setting up sequences, analyzing performance data, and improving results based on what the numbers tell you.
What you'll do
Write clear, persuasive email and SMS copy for campaigns, nurture sequences, and automated workflows. Develop subject lines, preview text, and calls to action that drive opens and clicks. Build and maintain a library of proven messaging templates and frameworks for reuse across campaigns. Manage list segmentation and contact properties to ensure messages reach the right people. Set up and run A/B tests on copy and send timing, then use the results to improve performance. Track metrics like open rates, click rates, and conversions, and report findings to the team.
Skills and background needed
Comfortable writing short-form, direct-response copy (email and SMS). Basic experience with marketing automation platforms or willingness to learn them on the job. Familiarity with A/B testing and reading performance data. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once. Able to work independently and communicate clearly with team members.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
