Job Description:

  • Own the pre-sales solutioning process for Salesforce and Agentforce pursuits from initial discovery through final proposal
  • Shape solution architectures aligned with client business outcomes and Merkle's capabilities
  • Lead internal multidisciplinary pursuit teams toward differentiated, winnable proposals
  • Serve as senior technical authority in client-facing pursuit settings
  • Translate Salesforce capabilities and trade-offs into business-relevant narratives for VP and C-suite stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain Merkle's strategic and technical point of view on the Salesforce Cloud ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Salesforce partner and co-sell teams on joint go-to-market planning and partner-facing forums
  • Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets, including architecture frameworks, discovery playbooks, demo environments, RFP response modules, and proposal templates
  • Advise clients on emerging Salesforce innovations, Agentforce, AI capabilities, prerequisites, and implementation sequencing
  • Integrate Merkury identity resolution, consent management, and audience activation into Salesforce Data Cloud architectures
  • Define Merkle's Agentforce solutioning approach and client-ready discovery and proposal narratives
  • Contribute to Salesforce-related hiring profiles, certification strategy, delivery-team enablement, and external thought leadership
  • Protect and grow Salesforce-related DDM revenue by improving pursuit precision, competitive differentiation, pipeline contribution, and win rate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce platform strategy and solutioning roles
  • Demonstrated success shaping client strategy and winning complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits
  • Deep, real-world Salesforce cloud and Data Cloud expertise
  • Hands-on advisory experience with Salesforce Cloud implementations
  • Ability to speak credibly about Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and their integration
  • Understanding of emerging Salesforce features and AI capabilities
  • Proven pre-sales or solutioning track record presenting to C-suite audiences and shaping large-scope proposals
  • Deep fluency in first-party data strategy, identity resolution, consent and privacy management, data clean rooms, and omnichannel activation
  • Ability to translate Salesforce capabilities and strategic trade-offs into business-relevant language
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications such as Salesforce Architect or Consultant strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in consulting, systems integration, agency, or MarTech vendor environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce partner ecosystem and complementary tools including Tableau, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Slack, Adobe, and Tealium preferred
  • Experience positioning proprietary identity resolution platforms such as Merkury, Acxiom, or LiveRamp preferred
  • Familiarity with AI agent deployment patterns, LLM integration in CX workflows, and data prerequisites for agentic personalization preferred
