Walt Disney World Labor Relations Intern

About the role

This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. You will support the Labor Relations team with site-specific collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and labor-management issues. The program runs from January 2027 through June 2027.

What you'll do

  • Provide daily and project-based support to the Labor Relations team.
  • Assist with logistics for negotiations, collective bargaining, and arbitrations.
  • Help staff with grievances and operations initiatives.
  • Conduct legal research for internal and external use.
  • Gather confidential information and maintain documentation.
  • Serve as a backup for administrative functions.

What you'll need

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, with junior or senior standing preferred.
  • Coursework in Industrial and Labor Relations or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
  • Preferred: Bilingual skills and experience with Workday, SharePoint, and Zoom.

Location & details

  • Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida (on-site).
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET.
  • Pay: $23.00 per hour.
  • Requirements: Interns must provide their own housing and reliable transportation.
