Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Weekend Part-Time Night Lounge Bouncer to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff. As a key security team member, you will be responsible for maintaining order, preventing disturbances, and providing exceptional customer service during late-night hours. Your proactive approach and strong security skills will help create a positive experience while upholding safety standards throughout the venue.

Duties

  • Monitor the lounge area using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activity or security breaches
  • Conduct thorough background checks on patrons when necessary to ensure compliance with venue policies and legal requirements
  • Control access to the lounge by verifying identification, managing entry points, and operating access control systems efficiently
  • Perform regular patrols of the premises to maintain physical security, identify hazards, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
  • Respond swiftly to incidents or conflicts through conflict de-escalation techniques, conflict management skills, and emergency response procedures
  • Write detailed incident reports documenting any disturbances, injuries, or security concerns for record-keeping and future reference
  • Assist with emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR when needed, operating AED devices, and following fire safety protocols

Skills

  • Strong surveillance capabilities with experience in CCTV operation and monitoring security footage
  • Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and conflict management skills
  • Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and trained in emergency response procedures to handle medical emergencies confidently
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and safe physical security practices including firearm handling and taser use where applicable
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patrons and team members
  • Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV technology, fire safety regulations, and compliance with security regulations
  • Proven ability to perform patrolling duties effectively while maintaining a high level of alertness during night shifts
