WordPress Web Designer/Developer Needed for Book Landing Page + Website Updates

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress web designer/developer to help create a landing page for an upcoming book, as well as refresh and make some updates to the author’s existing business website.

Book Landing Page

We already have a wireframe, written copy, and assets prepared, so we’re looking for someone who can take those materials and turn them into a polished, functional WordPress landing page.

The landing page will support the launch of a new book and will need to include features such as:

Responsive design for desktop and mobile

Downloadable PDF exercises/resources for readers

Newsletter signup integrated with Mailchimp

Links and calls to action throughout the page

A design that complements the author’s existing brand and business

Existing Website Updates

The book is closely connected to the author’s existing work and business, so we would also like to refresh portions of her current WordPress website. This may include updating the overall look and feel of certain pages, adding or updating buttons and calls to action, and creating a page or pathway that connects visitors to the new book landing page.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in WordPress, web development, and web design, as well as experience integrating tools such as Mailchimp. We’d especially like someone who can work from an existing wireframe while also bringing their own design expertise and recommendations to the project.

You’ll be working with a small team consisting of Susie, the author and business owner, and Andrea, who manages her marketing. Good communication and the ability to collaborate are important to us. We anticipate using video calls for key project discussions and reviews, with additional communication through Upwork messaging as needed.

Timeline: We would like the project completed by October 22, 2026.

When applying, please include examples of WordPress websites or landing pages you’ve designed and developed, particularly any projects involving authors, book launches, small businesses, downloadable resources, or Mailchimp integrations.
